2025 and beyond Travel Dive Trips

Join Southern Maryland Divers on this epic, once in a lifetime "bucket list" trip to the Philippines in 2025! This will be our second trip to the Philippines and this is one you don't want to miss. We have set the trip date out far enough so that you can save and plan. This trip is not to be missed and will surely be one for the books.  We'll be diving with the premier dive operation in the country known for five world-class valet dives per day, fine accommodations, gourmet meals and concierge service.  With two weeks of diving, you will have the opportunity to see the best that the Philippines has to offer.

Our group will arrive in Manila and be transported via private transportation to the Atlantis Dive Resort in Puerto Galera. We will spend the next week diving at the resort. We will then board the Atlantis Azores live-a-board yacht to spend the next week diving the world renown Tubbataha!

IT'S ESTIMATED THAT IF YOU PARTICIPATE IN ALL THE DIVES, WE CAN GET UP TO 50+ DIVES ON THIS TRIP!

Schedule:

May 31st thru June 7th, 2025 - Atlantis Puerto Galera Resort 

INCLUSIONS:

• 7 nights deluxe room double occupancy - room upgrades are available
• Full Board Meals (full breakfast and chef prepared, three-course lunch & dinner)
• Coffee, hot tea, iced tea and filtered water 6AM-930PM. 
• Unlimited scheduled boat diving (up to 4 day dives and one night dive daily). Dawn dives and additional day trips available for additional cost

EXCLUSIONS:

• Atlantis provides round trip transfers between Manila and Puerto Galera. Includes roundtrip domestic economy airfare between Manila and Dumaguete with 70 lbs. of checked luggage per person,  domestic terminal fees, private air conditioned van between international terminal and domestic terminal in Manila, round trip private air conditioned transfers  between Dumaguete Airport and resort, personal airport ‘Meet & Greet’, and luggage assistance.  This rate applies when at least 16 or more are traveling together on the same transfer otherwise a different transfer rate may apply.
• The marine park fee for is approximately $4.25 US per day dive and $6.30 US for a night dive per person.  Estimated marine park fee is $46.00.  Guests pay these fees at the resort on their personal bill at check-out.
• Guests are responsible for paying for land excursions and additional day trips to Apo or Siquijor for $98.00 and the whale sharks at Oslob is $113.00. Rates are subject to change.

June 7h - June 14th, 2025 - Atlantis Azores Live-A-Board - TUBBATAHA! 

INCLUSIONS:

• ​The Azores accommodates 16 passengers with 14 sharing 7 deluxe staterooms and 2 sharing the owners suite. 
• 7 night’s twin share accommodations 
• All meals & snacks, local soft drinks
• Diving (up to 5 dives per day including night diving), tanks & weights, air fills

We have run a shop trip ten years in a row now to the wonderful island of Roatan Honduras! We have the absolutely BEST deal around without cutting corners. The Mayan Princess beac and dive resort is absolutely beautiful and the diving is world class. We saw at least one turtle on EVERY dive on all four trips and the reef is in absolutely wonderful condition. Truly an experience you should partake in.

Atolls: North Male Atoll – Lhaviyani Atoll – Noonu Atoll – Raa Atoll – Baa Atoll – Rasdhu Atoll – Ari Atoll

Journey and dive through North Male Atoll and cross the mighty Karshidu Channel to the Northern Atolls. These atolls boast their own unique charm and beauty and are renowned for their spectacular dive sites and diverse marine life.  

While we see mantas throughout the year on this itinerary, from May to October we offer a slight variation. Baa Atoll is home to Hanifaru lagoon which is a UNESCO Marine Reserve and during south west season (May to October) it is known for large numbers of manta rays and whale sharks congregating to feed on the plankton swept in by the prevailing current, this is a mesmerizing spectacle.  Only snorkeling is allowed in Hanifaru, but the experience is nothing short of extraordinary. 

Our 10 night itinerary will venture on through the Northern Atolls to unveil a plethora of remarkable dive sites including the Shark Nursery, Horobadhoo Thila, Shipwreck Graveyard and Christmas Rock, to name but a few. Each dive reflects the Maldives’ natural beauty and rich marine biodiversity. We visit manta cleaning stations throughout the year which are an absolute highlight of diving in the Maldives.
