Trip includes 9 dives.
(3) Days of 3 tank offshore dives
TOTAL OF 9 DIVES

Required Experience Level:
Advanced Open Water is required, and nitrox is highly suggested to extend your bottom time. These dives occur over 40+ miles off shore. Divers should be experienced and comfortable diving in the open ocean. Dives occur at depths between 85-110ft depending on the location chosen by the Captain based on weather and other conditions. Required equipment on top of normal scuba gear includes a wreck reel, surface marker signal tube, and a collection bag for all your teeth. Tech divers and Rebreather divers are welcomed but must be certified to dive in the equipment they are using and must dive according to the certification level held. Any violations will result in the diver being banned for future trips.

Dives include any of a number of off shore wrecks, ledges or lion fish hunting grounds.  Weather and sea conditions are the driving force behind the decisions on where to go.  Common spots include: Papoose, Schurz, Aeolus, SPAR, U-352, Bedfordshire, Hardee’s Reef, The Titan, the Indra, Ed’s Lobster Wreck, Cassamir, among many others. Should you have any requests, let the trip leader know and they will see if it is feasible based on conditions.  Assuming the weather is good (and everyone on the trip wants to), a day of megalodon teeth hunting can occur for a small upcharge to be paid on the boat.

Nitrox is HIGHLY recommended but not required.

Required Equipment:
All Dive Gear, Dive Knife or Cutting Tool, Certification Card(s), Wreck Reel, Lift Bag/SMB, Surface Signaling device, and Dive Insurance. Rental tanks are available. See pricing.

Travel:
The dive charter is located in Swansboro, NC. Divers are responsible for travel to and from the dive charter location. Lodging is available as an optional add-on. See pricing.

Deposit schedule:
Full payment is due to hold your spot and is fully refundable until 60 days from the date of the charter. 60 days and sooner, the charter fee is only refundable if you find someone to fill your spot or the charter is canceled for any reason on our end (weather, charter operator, etc).

Cost of charter gets you on the boat. All dive gear to include tanks and weights are responsibility of the diver. Rentals including high volume nitrox tanks delivered to the dock are available for the prices listed as first come first served with limited availability.

The cost of the charter is for the boat ride ONLY.

Divers are responsible for ALL gear to include tanks and weights. Rental gear including tanks, weights, BCD, and regulators are available at Southern Maryland Divers.

**Since we don't uncharge on these trips and therefore do not make a profit, deposits and payments made with credit card or PayPal will have a 3% fee added to cover those costs on our end. Payments made with cash, check, or Zelle do not have the 3% added.

**Should the collective group decide to do a MEG Ledge dive and the weather agrees, there will be a slight up-charge that will be handled directly with the charter operator.
